Dedicated to getting results

This isn't just a job, it's my passion.

My mission

image0.png

As both a parent and a school leader, I understand the challenges faced in trying to access the specialist support needed to improve the lives of children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). That's why I set up SENDeavour. I am passionate about improving access to quality SEND support and have dedicated my career to helping schools and families achieve this.

I have an exceptional track record of improving the SEND provision across mainstream settings and specialist settings both in the maintained and independent sectors; as well as in local government authority agencies. I have direct experience in setting up educational settings and provisions, as well as positively impacting all providers I have worked with to improve their overall grading of SEND support, strategy and leadership both within Ofsted frameworks and ISI frameworks.

My experience and knowledge span all ages and across a range of special educational needs and disabilities, with particular expertise in sensory needs, language and communication needs, learning disabilities (such as Global Developmental Delay, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Trauma and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Success Story

Award-winning Retired Headteacher, London

Hannah and I worked together to set up a school for children with autism and complex needs in West London. Our school was designed for children between the ages of seven and seventeen with EHCP’s for whom mainstream settings were not working. From the very beginning of this journey, Hannah shared with me a vision of a school in which children would feel they belonged and would develop a love of learning, finding success and self esteem. After just two short years, the school was full and received a glowing inspection report, with the leadership of the school given the highest rating and the engagement and progress of previously disengaged learners described as very significant. Hannah’s contribution to the growth of the school was fundamental to its success. Hannah has a real understanding of the challenges faced by children with Special Educational Needs and their families. Her empathy, listening, adaptability and reliability made her a firm favourite with both students and parents alike. She was also able to motivate and empower staff to work in the best interests of the children, helping them to navigate the details of EHC plans, autism best-practice and DFE requirements, so that they were knowledgeable and effective in meeting the needs of all children. Hannah is a highly motivated, conscientious, and hard-working professional whose love of working with children and young people shines through in all that she does. Her commitment to supporting children with SEND and their families to enable each child to thrive has had proven impact in more than one setting. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Hannah and have no hesitation in recommending her.
